Contact Lens Center
of Lynbrook
Selecting care for your eyes is an
important decision. We're honored that you've chosen the Contact
Lens Center of Lynbrook. We're committed to providing the highest
standard of contact lens and Orthokeratology care. Our office is located in Nassau
County, Long Island, two blocks east
of Peninsula Boulevard, at 469-A Sunrise Highway, Lynbrook, New York.
Unlike most offices, the Contact Lens
Center of Lynbrook prescribes over 200 varieties and brands of contact
lenses. Our in-house lab allows us to quickly make various adjustments on
rigid gas permeable lenses. You can be assured that you will
never have to compromise comfort, vision, or ocular health when you've
chosen our office to manage your contact lens or Orthokeratology care.
Our Mission
Contact lenses and Ortho-K vision
retainers are medical devices and
should be considered a long term investment. When considering
these devices, the professional expertise and experience of your eye care
practitioner should be your prime concern; otherwise, comfort, vision,
and ocular health are often compromised. Our practice is limited
to contact lenses and Orthokeratology and our professional fees reflect the quality of
care, time and experience that we provide.
Cosmetic &
Visual Rehabilitation
Every year, thousands of people suffer
dramatic -- and often permanent -- eye disfigurement as the result of
an occupational, sporting or household accident, or by disease. In the
past, these people were forced to either wear unsightly eye patches or
dark eyeglasses, or face the unwanted stares of strangers who noticed
their altered appearance. Today, it is possible to restore the dignity
and quality of life that is so important to these individuals. The
Contact Lens Center of Lynbrook is dedicated to prescribing contact
lenses that mask ocular disfigurement caused by injury or
disease.
The Contact
Lens Center of Lynbrook also can help individuals with
"color blind" deficiencies through the use of special tinted
(red X-Chrome filter) contact lenses.
We help restore vision to individuals
that have distorted corneas caused by injury or bad refractive
surgical results.
The Contact Lens Center of Lynbrook
also specializes in prescribing many designs of contact lenses for
Keratoconus including: RGPs, Macrolens
(Large diameter semi-scleral RGP), Epicon, Soft-Perm (RGP center and
Soft Lens skirt), Piggyback, and even special soft contact lenses when
appropriate.
Consultation &
Examination
Computerized instruments including
corneal mapping assist the doctor in obtaining valuable data during
the pretesting procedure. After a one hour consultation and
examination, we will be able to recommend and prescribe a contact lens
that will best suit your needs. When ordering lenses, the
consultation is included in the overall fee.
